We recently completed the production, factory testing, and export packaging of a dry ice granulator machine and matching dry ice insulation containers for a client in Oman. For this Oman order, the progress is as follows:
- Production: The dry ice pellet machine was manufactured.
- Trial testing: The machine completed its pre-shipment test.
- Packing: The equipment was secured in a wooden crate.
- Shipment preparation: The dry ice granulator machine was prepared for export to Oman.

Initial inquiry & client pain points
The client, an industrial service and cold-chain provider in Muscat, Oman, highlighted three core challenges:
- High sublimation rates: Pre-made dry ice lost significant volume during long-distance road transit before reaching their local end-users.Strict
- Density requirements: For seafood transport services, they needed hard, high-density pellets that wouldn’t crumble into powder.
- Cost efficiency: They required high liquid-to-solid conversion rates to avoid wasting liquid CO₂ raw materials.
Technical communication & solution design
Through several rounds of technical discussions, our engineering team aligned with the client’s facility setup:
- Capacity & spec matching: Based on their daily distribution goals, we recommended our 300kg/h dry ice granulator machine supplied with a precision mold set.
- Conversion guarantee: We addressed their concerns regarding raw material waste by guaranteeing a liquid-to-solid CO₂ conversion ratio of 42%.
Factory acceptance test and trial run
After the order was confirmed, production was completed according to the specified configuration. Before shipment, the dry ice granulator machine underwent trial testing to check its operating condition.
Pre-shipment testing is an important step in equipment delivery. It allows the supplier to check the machine before packing and helps identify potential issues that may need attention before the equipment leaves the factory.
Wooden crate packing for export to Oman
After production and trial testing, the dry ice pellet machine was packed in a wooden crate for export.
Wooden crating helps protect the equipment from impacts and handling damage during transit when properly designed and secured.
